Apple has refreshed the Studio Display with a few meaningful upgrades, including an improved 12-megapixel Center Stage camera with Desk View, Thunderbolt 5 connectivity, and better bass from the built-in speakers, all while keeping the starting price at $1,599.

Apple also introduced the Studio Display XDR at $3,299, bringing high-end HDR capabilities to a more accessible price point compared to the $5,000 Pro Display XDR. It features a 27-inch 5K display with mini-LED backlighting, high brightness and contrast, and a smoother 120 Hz refresh rate. Both displays require macOS 26.3.1 Tahoe and are compatible with all Apple silicon Macs.
