Sadly, not every website or app supports Apple Pay, so we’re often stuck typing in credit card details by hand. In iOS 26, Apple is making that a bit easier with AutoFill in the Wallet app. Cards you’ve already set up with Apple Pay are available automatically, but you can also add new ones by opening Wallet, tapping the three-dot menu, choosing AutoFill, and selecting Add Card. You can scan the card or enter the details manually.
Once it’s set up, AutoFill can handle checkout on sites and apps that don’t support Apple Pay. When you tap into a payment field, you may see your saved cards suggested above the keyboard. If not, tap into the field, open the text menu, and choose AutoFill > Credit Card. From there, your card details will be filled in for you, saving a bit of time and effort.
